New stuff makes me happy! The new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog is here and there are so many great new items. One stamp set that I think might get overlooked is the Hello Kiwi set. Don't let that be you!
I love a good pun so I knew I had to have this set as soon as I saw it. I also love the two step stamps for layering the color on the fruits.

This card came about because I had a tag and the kiwi stamps still on my desk from creating some other cards. Somehow they seemed like they were meant to go to together. I love how it all works together to balance out an adorable card. Lemon Lime Twist is a great option for the kiwi and it stands out nicely with black and white.

The other color I really liked with the Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black was the new Bubble Bath. It's a great pink and creates a good contrast with the bight green.
I used paper from the same pack as the last card but this time I stamped directly on the designer series paper.

This one was created in all Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black. That's it! I was just barely able to get the sentiment on the bottom of the card but I did it.
Moving on to the blackberry in the set I knew I had to use Blackberry Bliss--right?? It, too, balances really well with Bubble Bath and adding in some black and white seemed to make sense.

This card was one that I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do with it. I had stamped the blackberries and the splatters on the white panel but was left unsure how to finish it. After much trial and error I like how it turned out! I ended up pairing Blackberry Bliss with Balmy Blue.
