Monday Montage 251

I can't believe it's a week to Christmas! I'm not ready but that's nothing new. I'll get there. It's also our last Monday Montage Blog Hop of the year.

I've been having too much fun finally playing with some of the new products coming out in the January mini catalog and the Sale a Bration catalog. At the top of my list is this gorgeous Flight & Airy paper pack that you can earn as a Sale a Bration item with any $50 order in January and February. Check out the samples I've made so far.

In most I've paired it with the fun Softly Sophisticated Bundle that you can earn with a $100 level purchase. The embossing folder and and the sayings are all from this bundle.

I love how deep the embossing folder embosses. It looks amazing on vellum!

This design is one I go back to all the time. It's an easy layout that looks great by combing a three circles in various sizes.

Stampin' Up! Sunny Days and Bright Skies

I'm so excited for the new mini catalog and Sale a Bration starting in January. One of the best parts about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is being able to view and order from catalogs early. My preorder has arrived and I've been having fun using the soon to be released Sunny Days Sale a Bration paper. Check out these fun card ideas.

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon punch on this first card. It's an easy layout that lets you show off lots of different patterns of paper. The Sunny Days paper coordinates with the Bright Skies bundle and that is where the sentiment came from.

This layout is a simple one to recreate but the bright bold paper makes it pop! I love the tiny dots on the edges of the circles. It adds a little something extra to the die cuts.

Did you catch the Online Exclusive Gold and Silver Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper? It's awesome! It's always nice when you can die cut and stick it straight on your project without needing to deal with glue. Here is used it for the cloud but it's such a time saver when you are doing words and intricate dies.

This time of year I need a lot of gift card holders. I don't like to simply hand someone a gift card. I like to make it special! I've got four fun ways for you to gift someone a gift card this holiday season.

The first uses the fun Classic Gift Card Envelopes. These are retiring with the mini catalog and are on sale. Be sure to stock up! You can add a little color to them with blending brushes, simply tie ribbon around them or add them to the inside of a card. So many uses.

The Mini Pocket Envelope die is the perfect size for creating gift card holders. With this die you can use any of your favorite papers and create an adorable project in minutes.

Tip: I always use Tear Tape for gift card holders and envelopes I make. It's a much stronger adhesive than Seal and helps hold up when you are slipping something in and out of the envelope.

This design is one of my favorites! The best way to make them is with Memories and More cards. It's a rather simple design in the end:

-Base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches (a quarter of a piece of card stock)
-Layer on top of it a 4 x 5 1/4 inches piece of Designer Series Paper or trim 3/4 of an inch off of a Memories and More card
-The middle is a piece of card stock cut to 9 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches and scored at 3 1/4 and 6 1/2
-Use your Memories and More 3 x4 cards to decorate

This design fits in a traditional card envelope making it the perfect Gift Card Card!

I hope you haven't overlooked the Scalloped Gift Card Boxes in the annual catalog. These are perfect for gifting your gift cards! Easily decorate with your favorite Designer Series Papers, some tags and ribbon. The inside has a great little pop up holder to slip the gift card in.
