I've been working on samples for my upcoming class (Friday, April 29th). This class will feature four cards each highlighting different products and techniques. The sample below is watercoloring with the Rose Wonder set (pg 18 of the Occasions Catalog, item 140697). I used an aqua painter and the ink on the inside cover of my stamp pads. I wasn't trying to make it perfect. To me that makes it look even more like a watercolor painting to have it slightly imperfect.

A blog is something I've wanted to do for years but it's always seemed intimidating. I was able to make my own website...started an Etsy store...handled all kinds of other online programs but somehow the blog thing just hasn't happened. Today that changed! So here it is, my first post. This past week I pulled out the You're So Lovely project kit from the Occasions Catalog. The samples I made up were even cuter than I expected! I loved using the sponge brush that is included in the kit to add splashes of color to both the image and the negative image. This kit is on page 32 of the Occasions Catalog (item 140590, $26). I've had a number of people mention that they hadn't even noticed it! Don't worry if you have overlooked it as well because I'll be offering it as a class in May. Stay tuned for the date.
