On Sunday I had a chance to get together with my Stampin' Up! upline and other members of her team. We participated in a Shoebox Swap. Everyone brings a project and enough materials for each person to make it in a "shoebox" and we spend time together being creative. Below are some of those projects! The background for the baby card below was created using shaving cream and reinkers! This was a new technique for me but I'm hooked. I even went out and bought shaving cream so you can bet this will be a project at an upcoming class!

This technique has been around forever but I had never tried it! Start with reinkers--I picked these four. Place drops closely together on baby wipes. I used my embossing tray as a holder. Then press the stamp hard onto the wipe and stamp onto your paper! It's that easy.
Below are some other cards I made with a different combo of colors. This arrived todayI've been with Stampin' Up! for nearly 12 years now and am so excited to share that I recently promoted to Silver Elite. The thank you goes to each of you who have supported my business.
So what does this promotion mean? It's based on personal sales and recruiting and the real accomplishment for me is that I have begun to grow a team. It's been a lot of fun to recruit others to SU! and help them learn the ins and outs. Many of my downline are currently interested in simply supporting their own crafting habit but others are teaching classes and recruiting others. If you are interested in learning more about Stampin' Up! let me know. I'd love to answer any questions you might have. Did you know that if you join Stampin’ Up! you choose $125 worth of product for just $99 with no shipping? Once you join you enjoy an ongoing discount/commission of at least 20%. If you want to stay active you need to sell/buy $300 worth of product each quarter but there is no penalty if you choose not to meet the minimum. You will simply be dropped as a demonstrator. I welcome but hobbyists and those wanting to build a business! When I first saw the Delicate Details (143314) and Avant Garden (143272) I was not in love with them. However, after seeing great ideas on Pinterest I changed my mind. Pairing it with the So Very Much (143343) made for a quick and easy Thank You note.
You can get any of these three sets FREE with a $50 order but only through the end of March. |
