Stampin' Up! Product Changes Coming

We have some updates about cling stamps and Stampin’ Write Markers, as well as some exciting news about new coordinating packaging for stamps and dies. Here’s a quick snapshot:

Cling Stamps (Red Rubber)
We’ve decided to discontinue our cling stamp line due to key raw materials becoming increasingly difficult to source, with some no longer being manufactured at all. We will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.

Stampin’ Write Markers
We have also decided to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, we’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling.

New and Improved Stamp and Die Packaging
As part of our transition away from cling stamps, we’re excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, we’re able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together. The new packaging is similar to our current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

Party Dies OnStage Raleigh Presentation

I had an amazing time getting to present the new Party Dies bundle at OnStage in March. These two die sets are awesome! The Party Banners and Party Alphabet sets are great on their own but paired together you can do so much. It's been hard waiting for them to go on sale but they are here now so be sure to get yours. Remember, if you buy them as a bundle you save 10% too!

Here is a look at my full set of projects. I tried to show card making, home decor, scrapbooking and more.

This card mimics the scrapbook page you see in my full display. I loved showing off all the new In Colors this way.

With only having dies to show off during my presentation I wanted to find some interactive techniques I could show. One idea I wanted to highlight was how you can use the negative images of the letter cutouts to create masks. Add some ink and a blending brush and this is a fun technique.

This card also highlighted the negative image of the letters. The bright color and pattern of this paper really made it stand out.

This card I created using the banner die that is the size of a standard card. You can do this by making sure the top edge of the die rests above the fold of your paper so that you do not cut it off.

Creating banners is a given with these dies and you can do single ones or create words and phrases!

Here's a picture of me on the main stage during my presentation. It was nerve wracking for sure but ended up being a lot of fun.

Stampin' Up! Reindeer Days Suite

The new Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog launched yesterday and there is so much wonderful new product to show off! Have you checked out the catalog? You can download a digital copy on the SU! site or shop the website. If you need your own copy contact me.

One of my favorite suites from this catalog is the Reindeer Days products which includes the Reindeer Fun bundle. As soon as I saw it I knew it needed to be the focus for a suite class. I've been creating with it so much! Check out all these fun projects.

The first thing I made was a wall hanging piece. This will be a part of my suite class and I love how it turned out. I found the cut little hanging boxes at Michaels. The adorable deer can be die cut from the coordinating paper.

The colors are so bright and fun. I wanted Real Red ribbon to coordinate so I created my own with the Blends. I love that we can color white ribbon into any color we need.

The sweet branched die cut is so perfect for a focal point on your card. I may or may not have spent a lot of time fussy cutting deer!

This card used so many supplies from the suite. I embossed the Designer Series Paper with the new Plaid embossing folder. This is one of the big ones! You can fit a full 1/2 sheet of card stock in at one time. I also stamped the cute reindeer and used my Blends to give it some color. It's topped off with some twine and peppermint embellishments.

Stamping technique class samples

My most recent class was a technique class that focused on Blends, the Color Lifter and Blending Brushes. I love all the projects and really enjoyed working with my customers to try them all out.

The first one was taught to me by Elisabeth, a DDM from the home office, at our recent event in Edwardsville. She showed us how to use our Blends on velum to create a cool striped look. It pairs so well with the Online Exclusive Tropical Leaf bundle. I created a reel to show you how to make this one.

One of the products I wanted to focus on in this class was the Stampin' Blends Color Lifter. I found that most of my customers had not tried using it even though they use Stampin' Blends a lot. There are a number of ways to use them besides simply lightening colors on an image you have colored.

For this card we actually colored with Blends around the outline of the image, instead of the image itself, and used the Color Lifter to pull the color further away. It both lightened the color and made it bleed out and away from the image more.

The pink one I created to use as part of my weekly "this or that" against the purple we created in class. Interestingly the pink one won!

This card uses a number of techniques. The first thing we did was use a mask to add a design to our card stock base with a small Blending Brush.

The image is created by first inking the full stamp in Fresh Freesia and then applying some Gorgeous Grape with a small Blending Brush. I also added a little color to the edges of the punched sentiment piece with my Blending Brush. I created a Reel for this one as well.

The final card was created by using the Stampin' Blends Color Lifter to blend the watercolor pencils on the flowers. I loved adding the Brass Butterflies for some extra bling.

Quick cards with Stampin' Up! Regency Park scraps

I can't seem to stop making cards with my scraps. I love how they look! Plus it's fast, easy AND I get to use up my supplies. I've shared a few videos lately showing how I create these. You can check them out on YouTube or Instagram.

I always layer the pieces on a scarp piece of paper to make it easier. This one was 4 x 5 1/4 and I did not layer it on a second color but directly onto my white base.

This card uses a 3 3/4 x 5 inch scrap sheet for the strips layered on a 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of Night of Navy.

The Tailor Made Tags are an easy way to add something extra to your sentiment.

Game Night Cards

I hosted another Stampin' Game night last week and these are the cards we made. A few people joined over Zoom so the projects had to be ones that could be completed with stamps they had at home (no stamped images allowed in class packets per company policy).

As you can see, the new Decorative Circle punch is amazing! Use it as a focal point, a backdrop or to stamp a sentiment on. You can't go wrong. This first card also features the Happy Forest Friends paper.

The Sweetest Cherries Bundle was one of the game round prizes so I had to use it on one of the cards! This card could be used for so many occasions and I loved using the bright new In Colors.

This card is our fun fold from the evening. The middle section opens up to reveal your message.

The Lasting Label punch is another one you need for your collection. I paired it with the Design a Daydream Host Designer Series Paper Pack. The patterns and colors are awesome in this huge (48 sheets) paper pack.

Also, make sure you don't overlook the Limited Edition stamp set. Not only is it just what you need to meet the Angel Policy (if you sell your handmade cards that feature SU! products) but the great sayings like this one are a must for your collection!

The final card used the beautiful Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper paired with the Uniquely Artistic stamp set.

The new Solid Faceted Gems are my current favorite embellishment. Everyone who attended received a pack as their attendance prize.

Circle Celebration Ideas

I couldn't let this set disappear without featuring it. I created two very similar cards using two different color combos. I combined it with the new Biggest Wish stamp set.

For the sentiment on both cards I did fussy cut around the outside lines of the word Thanks and popped them up with dimensionals.

I had to make sure this card got a little sparkle too so I used the Misty Moonlight and silver Bakers Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo.

For the Just Jade & Gold ribbon on this card I frayed the ends for a different look.

I'm on a Night of Navy kick all of a sudden! I like how it pairs with the subtleness of the Pale Papaya.
