This gift card holder is created using one of our square pillow boxes.  The box is not quite big enough to hold a gift card when closed but it's perfect if you leave the top open and stuff it with tissue paper and maybe even some coffee candies?

Have you made your Valentine's Day cards yet?  Only a couple days left to get them done so I thought I'd share some ideas.  We aren't big Valentine's Day celebrators but I do love any excuse to create and send cards to people I love.  

My first card combines the Stampin' Up! Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder and the Lighter Than Air.  I had die cut the circles and realized that the negative space was perfect to use as a frame.  I loved pairing the hearts with the bright and cheerful paper.  

I love adding small amounts of color to foil papers and Blends are the perfect tool.  The Most Adored Designer Series Paper is gorgeous and easy to change up based on the colors you pair it with. 

I love the embossed hearts from the Adoring Hearts Hybrid folder.  They add so much to the card. 

Pairing the hearts with the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper made for a cute card! 

Each of these cards is a simple design that is easy to recreate with the supplies you have!

Monday Montage is here again. February is in full swing and our weather is looking much better. We finally have had some sunshine which I really needed! 

I've been having fun with a few different inking techniques this past week. This card came about after I finished coloring all the butterflies with the baby wipe technique (scroll down). I decided the leftover negative space was perfect for doing some blending brush ink application to create a fun background. Be sure to check out the reel on Instagram to see how I did this.

I added a piece of vellum over the top to soften the butterfly background. Be sure to put your adhesive where it will be covered by your other elements.

To finish the card I added one of the plain Paper Butterfly Accents on top of a Bubble Bath circle cut with the Stylish Shapes circle die. Plain and simple but I love it! 

Here is the card I created with the baby wipe technique. This was one of the cards we made in my technique class last week.

Here is another card I created using the clouds I stamped during my video.  This is another way to do the baby wipe technique. You can add color to paper or to your stamps. Remember to use plain baby wipes with no lotions or perfumes.

I fell in love with the Bee Mine suite the moment I saw it! So cute and it has puns! I have been creating all kinds of projects with it over the past few weeks.  Check out some of my favorite below. 

The pillow boxes in the mini catalog are so easy to use to create adorable treat holders.  For this one I used the brayer and bubble wrap to create the fun background. Check out the video tutorial I share below to learn how to do this yourself.  Check out my reel of me creating this fun project. 

This card is CASEd straight from the mini catalog.  I loved how they used the Bee Builder punch in a different way than intended. Such a sweet and fun card. 

The sayings in the Bee My Valentine stamp set don't have to be used only for Valentine's Day. You can use for all kinds of other fun cards throughout the year. 

I created a video showing you how to use your brayer with bubble wrap to create a fun background.  This is the same concept I used on the pillow box above.  It mimics a honeycomb pattern which is why I loved it with the Bee My Valentine stamp set. 

The finished card makes me smile! I fussy cut the bee from the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper.

​Quick and easy to recreate! The panel is 4 x 5 1/4 layered on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 base. The DSP strip is 1 1/2 x 4. 

This card is one of the projects we are creating at my upcoming game night.  I wanted to use the suite but not the bees.  I think the embellishments in the middle of the flowers is the perfect touch.
