One of the sets I was most excited about in the new Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog was the So Refreshing bundle. I loved the sweet pitcher and all the stamps and dies that were included to compliment it. It definitely made me think of lemonade so that is where I went with the first round of cards I created with this set.
The Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper Pack has some great patterns in it that compliment this bundle so well. I used the strawberry paper on the next few cards.

Did you catch the Patchwork Pieces dies on page 165 of the catalog? They are easy to miss since they do not coordinate with a specific stamp set but they are so very fun to use. Check out both ways I used the starburst die.
For this fun birthday card I kept it neat and orderly and added some velum over the top to mute it a little.

Nothing says you have to stay in the lines! I decided on the second card to piece it together in a much more random pattern. I love how it turned out. What do you think? Keep it tight or let it be more random?
The last card I made I paired with another new set called Super Cool. I love the vintage type images in this set and the words are pretty great as well. I thought the "you are so sweet" was a perfect pairing with a pitcher of lemonade.
I used my Small Blending Brushes to add the Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath color to the white card stock. A little fussy cutting on the "sweet" made it stand out more as well.
