Sometimes when you are creating a card what is leftover can be just as important and the original idea!
I was creating this fun card using the new Basic Border Dies (which I had originally overlooked when the catalog first launched) and when I had gathered my scraps from cutting the arrow pieces I realized that the leftovers made me think of a starburst.
The ribbon on this card is a sneak peek at a new ribbon coming in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog.

I layered the scraps on a piece of Basic Black card stock to create this sunburst pattern. I trimmed the edges that hung over the sides.
It pairs so well with the saying from Sunny Sentiments! This might be one of my new favorite stamp sets as well. Again, one that I overlooked at first. I love how large the sentiments are. Sometimes having a big, bold statement on a card really works.
