Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D folder

I love the new Sunflower 3-D embossing folder! So many fun ways to use it but I did a lot of what I call the black ice technique. The folder is large so you can do a full 1/2 sheet of paper at once. 

These were both made with one piece that I embossed and colored and then cut in half.  You can check out how I created them on Facebook or Instagram.  

I loved adding the checked ribbon to this one and really thought the black card stock made it pop! And I don't know about you but I seem to need SO many birthday cards.  I guess it's a great thing I have so many people to celebrate. 

Here's another look at the same piece but on yellow.  Which do you like better?

I LOVE how it looks in just black and white.  Wow!  You can really see the details in the embossed images.  

Two shades of yellow--is there a more perfect color for sunflowers?  

Do not sleep on this folder.  It is so much fun to use.
