The May 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit was fabulous. I loved the colors and the nature scenes. As usual, I cut up the bases which let me double the number of cards I could make. I created tons of thank you, birthday and masculine cards. The bases are so pretty with great muted colors and flowing designs. Masculine birthday cards are harder for me because I always go for flowers and sparkly stuff! This kit was great for creating more neutral cards. For this card I cut one of the card fronts to 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 and then cut the panel into three 1 1/4 pieces. For the next two I couldn't decide If I liked the white base or the crumb cake base better. Remember to use your scraps! I save the pieces I cut off the bases and then create a striped background with them.
The new Party Piggy bundle is adorable. It's so cute that we decided to use it as our Creative Collab Crew Product Spotlight.
I'm a sucker for puns so this one is perfect for me. Cute sayings and cute images.
One of the most fun aspects is the coordinating shaker domes. You can fill them with the loose shaker embellishments for an adorable card. I often avoid shaker cards because they can be a lot of work but this one wasn't too bad!
What's Shakin' Bacon is so cute! Quick and simple card that is perfect for sending to a friend.
I'm thinking this is perfect for my college kid!
If the Party Piggy wasn't on your wish list it needs to be now!

Have you used a brayer before? There are so many ways to use one so Kathy, Melissa and I decided it was the perfect choice for this week's technique challenge. Be sure to go see how they used it as well.
I decided to do an ombre effect by layering three colors together. The new Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper is perfect for this because it's all black and white. I cut the DSP to 4 x 5 1/2 to leave a little color at the top and bottom.
When I went to create my video I decided to switch up the colors I used and do a pink version. I am loving that we got Strawberry Slush back as an In Color!
Don't miss the great new Textured Notes dies. Each one has a fun design to it. I used three of them on this card.
Check out exactly how I created this fun card with this video.
