For the first card I paired the papers with the fun Everyday Arches dies.
Each month I offer a suite class where we focus on one suite and create four projects. In February my choice was the Online Exclusive Mixed Media suite. The colors and patterns in the Designer Series Paper are so fun!
For the first card I paired the papers with the fun Everyday Arches dies.
Some of the patterns are black and white so this flower pattern is perfect for adding color with sponge daubers or blending brushes.
Have you tried making a faux shaker card? This was one of my Creative Collab Crew cards so I even have a how to video! Check it out here.
Most months we create three cards and a 5 x 7 piece. These pieces can be switched out of a standard 5 x 7 frame each month.
Most of my monthly suite classes are available by mail so be sure to get on my email list to hear about upcoming classes.

The Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper pack is fun because it not only has beautiful papers but also has sheets of die cuts. I had used a lot of the pack awhile back but pulled out the leftover pieces and sat down to try to create a bunch of cards.
The new stamp set It's Okay has wonderful sentiments in it. Create cards for those in your life going through tough times with the perfect sentiment like "it's enough if all you did today was survive".
I had a lot of 1.5 x 4 inch strips of the papers left so I created a number of cards using them as the main base.
You can orient the card either direction with this layout!
I love this saying of "inhale. exhale."
This card was a play on the sketch challenge that the Creative Collab Crew did last week! I was having too much fun with it. Check out the original here.
Here is another take on the sketch challenge.
We are back at it with another Creative Collab Crew Sketch Challenge. Who doesn't love a good sketch? They make card making so easy.
This is a fun and easy one to do! I use a 4 x 5 1/4 card front sized piece of coordinating card stock over my base and then add a 2 x 4 inch strip of paper and two circles. A ribbon or twine bow off to the side is a nice touch too!
The first card I created for our challenge used the new Online Exclusive Remember This Moment Memories and More card pack. I LOVE the colors in this pack. They pair really nicely with Basic Beige.
For this next sample I used the new Woven Textures Designer Series Paper. I think this one makes a great masculine card!
My final sample uses the Wildflower Birthday suite.

The Heirloom Arrangements kit might be my favorite yet! It's an amazing kit designed to create 8 cards. If you cut your bases in half you can stretch the materials! There are so many die cuts included.
For my alternatives I used six of the bases fully and cut one of the blue and one of the pink in half. Adding in white card stock and one piece of real red I created 13 total cards. Here are some of my favorites.

I know I keep saying it but Stampin' Up! keeps creating more and more amazing Paper Pumpkin kits and the March Daisy Daydream kit was no exception. I was able to create over 20 cards from one kit! Here are my first few alternatives. Don't overlook using your envelopes! This card was created by using the flap from an envelope. ![]() This card also uses part of an envelope. This week's Creative Collab Crew challenge was a color challenge. We picked Blueberry Bushel, Petunia Pop and Old Olive. I have to admit it was a little hard at first although I don't know why! Once I came up with an idea I think they worked great together.
Here is my card! I chose to use the new You Are Remarkable stamp set that is an Online Exclusive. It's such a pretty set.
If you want to see a LOT of great projects with this color combo don't miss our guest collaborators on Instagram! We just got back from our national convention and asked a few of our friends to create a card with our color challenge.
Creative Collab Crew Week 9 Product Spotlight with Mixed Media Florals Suite Faux Shaker Card3/5/2025
For Week 9 of our Creative Collab Crew challenges we did a product spotlight featuring the Online Exclusive Mixed Media Florals Suite. This suite includes TWO stamp/die bundles and both are fun to work with.
I chose to create a faux shaker card. These are so fun and easy to create using our clear envelopes. The Designer Series Paper insert is cut to 4 x 5.25 inches.
