I used the Mixed Media suite for my inspiration! I love this suite and all the different looks it allows you to create. This will be my suite choice for my February Suite Class so stay tuned for details. I offer both an in person class and a by mail option.
This week for our Creative Collab Crew Challenge we chose heat embossing. I picked Clear Embossing Powder on white card stock and colored it with my blending brushes.

Capturing the detail of the clear embossing power n a photograph was hard!
Check out my video where I walk you through how I created my card. I hope you enjoy!
Be sure to share your projects with us. We love to see how we've inspired you.

I've been getting requests for awhile now to hold a paper wreath class and I've finally got it scheduled! Here is my sample with the gorgeous Floral Delight Designer Series Paper. These wreaths are fun and pretty easy to make.
Each wreath uses a pack of Designer Series Paper cut to 6 x 6 squares. Interested in the class? Sign up here!
The December Paper Pumpkin kit was so much fun to play with. I loved creating these alternatives.
The Perennial Postage Dies somehow seemed a perfect fit for this kit. These cards are quite simple but the die cuts included in the kit are so stunning that the cards turned out beautiful.
I shared many of these cards on my social media accounts and had a lot of questions about how I lined up the words when I stamped them as a background. I actually just eye ball it and don't stress! They are handmade cards so they aren't meant to be perfect.
I added some ink to the edges of this card with my Blending Brushes.
With only word stamps and no images the options for alternatives were more limited so I used this technique with the repeating words quite a few times. I tried a few ways such as alternating on the one above and in a row on the one below.

It's also a great time to get a pre paid subscription because you can earn Sale a Bration rewards on it!
Welcome to Week 3 of our Creative Collab Crew challenges. This week was a sketch challenge. This is one of my favorite layouts because it allows you to show off multiple designs of Designer Series Paper and is super easy to do.
I created a lot of cards using this layout and you can see a video of them here.
Here is the sketch. Three shapes and a sentiment are the key elements. I like to use a 4 x 5 1/4 embossed piece of card stock as a base layer as well. I love to use circles but you can use any shapes! Be sure to check out what Melissa and Kathy used for additional inspiration.
Here is the card I shared on our sneak peek video. I love the new Toadstool Garden paper that you can earn as a Sale a Bration item with a $60 purchase. Check it out here.
If you want to see more about the products I used and how I create these cards check out my video. Be sure to follow my channel.
I switched things up and pulled out the new Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper as well. This is also a Sale a Bration item.
Here are a few more ideas!
Which was your favorite?
Be sure to go check out Melissa (The Stamp Doc) and Kathy's (Kathy's Stamping World) projects as well. Come back next week for our 4th instalment.
Welcome to another week of Creative Collab Crew. This week we did a color challenge and the only thing we all three got the same was Peach Pie! If you know us all this should not come as a surprise. Ha ha! We have a good time though and roll with it.
I used the Beautiful Butterflies again this week and paired it with the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper. I love the bright cheerful colors in these papers.
I paired Peach Pie with Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo. What colors would you pair with Peach Pie?
Here's a quick video to walk you through my card.
Measurements are: Coastal Cabana piece: 5 x 3 3/4 inches Glimmer piece: 3 1/2 by 1/2 inches Melon Mambo piece: 3 x 3/4 inches Orange piece: 2 1/2 x 1/2 inches
Sale a Bration is here along with a fun new Stampin' Up! mini catalog and I have so many new favorites! I couldn't wait to get started creating with the Terrific Toadstools and the coordinating Sale a Bration items especially the Toadstool Gardens paper.
These cards were ones I created for a "Free with purchase" class I offered. I love the colors and the patterns on all the fun papers in this pack. One key note with this toadstool punch is the fact that it cuts out the full image without any white showing around the edges. Most punches leave the outline but this one does not.
I loved this card because it showed off so many of the different patterns. It was also a card that did not require any stamping. I punched the toadstool from one of the patterned sheets. The ribbon is also a Sale a Bration reward option and coordinates perfectly. Seam binding ribbon is a great choice because it's thin and lays flat.
Have you gotten the Toadstool Garden paper yet?
I've joined with my two friends Kathy (Kathy's Stamping World) and Melissa (The Stamp Doc) for a weekly challenge series. We hope you follow along to see what we create each week and use it to spark your own projects.
For our first week we chose the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. We each created a project with this bundle and are sharing them with you! I chose to use the card front die to create two different size cards. Be sure to watch my video to see how I created each. There are two ways I suggest using this die. The larger is a full half sheet of card stock. Once you cut away the sides of the butterfly you can add your message or other papers to the base and keep the piece a full size A2 card. The other option is to cut your card stock around the outline of the butterfly cut out to create a notecard sized card. This is approximately 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches.
Here is my video. Be sure to subscribe so you get notice of future videos.
